Refund Policy for e-Clinical Psychologist Platform
1. Overview
The e-Clinical Psychologist platform is committed to providing high-quality psychological services and ensuring client satisfaction. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted for therapy sessions, appointments, or related services booked through our platform.
2. Payment and Booking Confirmation
Payments for therapy sessions are processed securely online at the time of booking. A confirmed appointment is reserved for the client once payment is successfully received and the client receives booking confirmation via email or through the platform.
3. Cancellation by Client
- Clients may cancel or reschedule their appointments without penalty up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled session.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund of the session fee or credit toward a rescheduled appointment, based on client preference.
- Requests made less than 48 hours before the session start time will not be eligible for a refund, except in exceptional circumstances considered on a case-by-case basis.
4. Cancellation by Therapist or Platform
- In the rare event that the therapist or the e-Clinical Psychologist platform cancels a scheduled session, clients will receive a full refund of the session fee or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
- Clients will be notified promptly of any such cancellations.
5. No-Show and Late Arrival Policy
- Clients who fail to attend a scheduled session without prior notification (no-show) will forfeit the session fee.
- Sessions will begin promptly at the scheduled time; late arrivals may result in a shortened session, and refunds will not be issued for partial session attendance.
6. Technical Issues
- If a session is disrupted due to technical problems on the client’s end (e.g., internet connectivity or device issues), the therapist will attempt to reconnect or reschedule the session.
- Refunds will not be issued for technical difficulties originating from the client’s side.
- If technical issues occur on the platform’s end preventing delivery of service, clients will be offered a session reschedule or full refund.
7. Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to support@eclinicalpsychologist.com within 7 days of the scheduled session date.
- Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7-14 business days, subject to payment provider timelines.
- The platform reserves the right to verify the validity of refund requests and may request additional information if necessary.
8. No Refunds for Completed Sessions
- Fees for sessions that have been completed as scheduled are non-refundable.
9. Disputes and Legal Rights
- This refund policy does not affect the statutory rights of clients under applicable consumer protection laws.
- In case of disputes related to refunds, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith communication before pursuing legal remedies.
10. Policy Amendments
- e-Clinical Psychologist reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time.
- Clients will be notified of any significant changes to the refund policy through the platform or via email.
